HSC Chemistry students had an exciting opportunity to attend the HSC Chemistry Day at Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga. Students used an Atomic Absorption Spectrometer (AAS) to compare the concentration of iron in Nutrigrain to its published nutritional information and enjoyed a series of demonstrations to explore the impact of increasing the rate of a chemical reaction. The students were excellent representatives of our college, and we thank the Eastern Riverina Science Teachers Association and Charles Sturt University for organising and running this excellent opportunity.
