START-UP INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS

Dear Parent, Caregivers & Students,

We hope everyone has had a lovely holiday break.  Please find important information for the start of school next week.

Term 1 commences 8:45am, Tuesday 31st January.  This is ATuesday on the College timetable – students will require equipment for classes listed from Lesson 3 – 5.   Lesson 1 & 2 will include Care Group activities and an Assembly and a School based devotion.  Existing students have their timetable loaded onto Student Cafea and new students receive their timetable on the first day.

ALL EXISTING STUDENTS in Years 8 – 12 to go directly to their Care Group room on the first bell at 8:45am.  

ALL NEW STUDENTS in Year’s 7 to 11 to go directly to the Chapel on the first bell, at 8:45am.

** IMPORTANT FOR BOARDERS ONLY** - All boarding Students to arrive Monday 30th January.  A new booking system is in place for all boarders to meet with Nurse Ange prior to entry into the boarding houses.  Every boarding family must book their time of entry via - https://calendly.com/med-centre/5min

All students on prescription medication need to bring a week’s supply in a Webster pack (see your local pharmacy). For the remainder of the term, all scripts and prescription medication are to be labelled in original boxes and handed to nurse at appointment.  

MEDICAL INFORMATION
New Students - Parents would have received a link from Karen Lowe to initiate their Parent Portal.  It is a requirement that ALL students entering the College have their medical information loaded prior to their first day.  Please log into your portal and input your child's medical, medicare card and immunisation records.

Existing Students – A yearly verification is required by all families for their child’s medical information. Please log into your Parent Lounge account and go Medical Details. If you have information to update, please do so. All families must check the current information and click the green verify button. 

2023 STATIONERY REQUIREMENTS
A reminder that the stationery requirements your children will need to start the school year are on our website: https://www.stpaulscollege.nsw.edu.au/booklists

You will be able to use your Back to School vouchers to purchase stationery items from registered businesses, including Officeworks and Holbrook Newsagency. There is a complete list of participating businesses on the Service NSW website.

UNIFORMS
All students are to wear full summer school uniform on the first day of school - summer hat to be included.

SPORTS UNIFORM – to be WORN EVERY TUESDAY WEEK B (week two). Please Note: change from Thursday due to timetable requirements), Please book your time via - https://calendly.com/med-centre/5min or unless otherwise communicated to students.

BUS TRANSPORT
Boarders only– No Wagga or Jerilderie buses run on Tuesday 31st January – they will resume on Friday 3rd February.

TIMETABLES & LOCKERS
New Students will receive their student login, timetable, class allocation, locker and lock on the first day.

Existing Students timetables are loaded onto your Student Cafe.  Please come prepared for Tuesday, Week A.  Lockers will be allocated on the first day.

NSW BACK TO SCHOOL VOUCHERS
We have registered for the Service NSW Back to School Vouchers.  These are available via your Service NSW App, or by registering through the Service NSW website:https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/back-to-school-vouchers . You will be able to use these vouchers towards your uniform purchases from the College.

COMPUTER DEVICE
Every student is required to have their own computer device on the first day of school.  Computer requirements can be found via our BYOD Handbook link – https://stpaulscollege.nsw.edu.au/handbooks
