Congratulations to our Year 11s for their successful year of Service-Learning. Each group worked hard over Terms 2 and 3 to develop and implement projects for the local and wider community.
There were four groups each with a different focus:
- Local Community Support - outreach to older community members and assisting with yard jobs such as weeding, pruning, window washing.
- Breast Cancer Awareness Week - a variety of fundraising and informative events held at lunchtime, Assembly and Care Group.
- Spreading Positivity - a focus on spreading kindness through writing reviews for local businesses, building connections.
- Year 6 Orientation Day Music Program - making connections with new students entering Year 7 by teaching them how to play various instruments and build confidence.
Every student has been able to reflect on their leadership in this course and we look forward to seeing and building on this next year!
