We had a successful showing of our White Suffolk sheep at Henty show recently. We had been busy in the extreme heat conditions preparing a group of ewe and ram lambs for the Show. Ten enthusiastic students along with ten sheep headed off for the day. Many of the students were first time sheep paraders. We won many ribbons as we were the only exhibitor with White Suffolk sheep. We also won the Reserve Champion Interbreed Ewe.

The students are all excited at the prospect of gaining a place in the team to travel to Dubbo Show in May. Preparations will commence for this event in the middle of March. Students will also be expected to feed the show team on a roster system. Thank you to Paul Kinning who drove the bus to and from the show to assist with transport.
