St Paul’s was established first and foremost to provide Christian secondary schooling with the belief that unless education has a spiritual basis it cannot prepare boys and girls for their fullest and best lives. All aspects of our endeavour can thus be regarded as a ministry to our students, educating them in body, mind and soul.
Therefore, we provide
• A diverse range of academic and practical subjects supported by qualified teachers and well-resourced facilities.
• Opportunities to hear a Christian message through devotions and Chapels.
• Opportunities for nurturing Christian faith through hearing the Word of God and participating in voluntary faith-related activities (including the celebration of Holy Communion).
• Strong interhouse competitions in the sporting, cultural and academic areas.
• Extra- and co-curricular opportunities in the cultural, sporting and academic areas.
• Programs for the personal and interpersonal development of students.
• Leadership opportunities for students.
• Avenues of support through Care Group teachers, specialist staff (such as the College Pastor, the Boarding Chaplain and the College nurses) and external agencies.
