St Paul’s students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of cultural opportunities.

Debating is introduced through English classes and developed through interhouse, Debater’s Association Victoria, eisteddfod and Rotary debating competitions. Similarly, public speaking is introduced through English classes and developed through competitions. Public speaking skills are honed with the assistance of a Speech and Communication teacher. Individual tuition, leading to certification by the Australian Speech Communication Association is available to students.

Drama is A vibrant facet of the school with students acting and singing in the annual school production and in the interhouse theatre sports competition. Students also assist with sound and lighting, costumes, make-up and set construction. Individual music tuition is provided by visiting tutors.

Other major cultural events include the biennial Debutante Ball and the annual Graduation Balls. Students receive dance training in preparation for these events.
