St Paul’s College has extensive sporting facilities, including two ovals, six modern tennis courts, and a multipurpose gym (basketball, netball, volleyball, badminton) together with outdoor netball/basketball and volleyball courts.

Each week, two lessons are reserved for all students to participate in sporting activities. This incorporates trials for athletics and swimming; Interhouse sport for year levels; electives at outside venues including golf, indoor cricket, gym, ten-pin bowling, lawn bowls; and a spirited competition between Care Groups.

Our students participate in interschool athletics, swimming and cross-country in BISSA (Border Independent Secondary Schools Association) and they have pathways to the national level in these and other sports, including football, netball and cricket. St Paul’s competes against local schools in touch football, netball, cricket and football (AFL).

Equine students regularly participate in local equestrian competitions and the North Western Equestrian Expo.

During the winter months, St Paul’s offers a number of trips to the Alpine region as part of both the sport and PDHPE programmes, and in September it enters a team in ASSSTC (Australian Secondary Schools Ski Team Championship). The opportunity exists for students to learn to ski or snowboard in a safe environment as part of our sporting program.
