Today St. Paul's College celebrated a Sod Turning Ceremony to start the construction of The Flexi Learning Centre. This is an important and significant milestone in the 69 years of providing education within the Greater Hume Shire and across Australia.
We welcomed The Hon. Sussan Ley, Federal Member for Farrer and Cr. Heather Wilton, Mayor of Greater Hume Shire Council to construction site.
This new building will be a welcome addition to the current growth we are seeing and the future needs of the College as we continue to grow and implement innovative teaching methods to deliver the best possible education for our students at St Paul's.
We acknowledge the considerable contribution of the Commonwealth Government towards the funding of the building, of which has made this project possible.
The building will be completed in December of this year ready for the start of 2018 when the College Community will celebrate 70 years of education.
We are excited to have signed the contract for this building with Premier Building and Construction (PBC) who recently received five Awards for projects completed. We look forward to working with PBC to complete this project on time and within budget.
